As many as ninety-five people have been killed and several others severely injured in the dust storms which have affected the North Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Apart from these states, some neighbouring states of the highly affected states such as Delhi have also experienced this disastrous natural disaster.

The rescue operators have intervened at the right time and are in the sort sincerely doing their duty. As per a report, in the Northern state of Uttar Pradesh where the most number of deaths have happened, its Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, is personally monitoring the rescue operations; in Rajasthan also, the story is not different.

It is to be noted that the timely interference of the government authorities is the reason why the affected people have been granted the support at the right time.

A source has informed a media person that at the time the disaster struck the majority of the people were sleeping as it was the peak hours of night.

The source has added had the disaster not struck at the night time the causality might have been much lower.

The source has also added that he had not witnessed such a violent dust storm before in his lifetime.
