Army to undergo radical revamp
Indian army is one of the strongest military forces in the world. It has the strength of over 1.3 million talented personals. Several times, it has demonstrated its strength to the world. For last few decades, a question has been haunting the minds of all those who consider the army as their guardian or protector: is it fare to ignore the urgent need of funds for the capital expenditure in the army. At present, the army’s revenue expenditure and pension expenditure are very high. So, there is no chance for the army to save a considerable amount of money from the fund, which is earmarked for their expenditure, to meet their capital expenditure requirements, which is necessary to revamp the army.
Recently, several professional committees have been constituted by the army to investigate what are the necessary changes the army must make to attain a radical revamp.
All of them have unanimously suggested that the army must reduce its strength to attain the radical revamp. As per their view, the reduction of strength will help to reduce the revenue expedition and pension expenditure. According to their opinion, the money saved as part of the reduction of strength can be spend to meet the urgent capital expenditure requirement, which is necessary to attain the goal of radical revamp.
