A tone borrowed from the Saffron camp

BJP Congress Leftist CongressChangedTone UniqueTimes

It seems the Grand Old Party does accept that there is a rational behind many things for which the Saffron Party stands, and for which it faces the criticism from the leftists.

The change in the tone of the Congress indicates that by now the Grand Old Party has been convinced that noting positive could be expected in the present political scenario of the country from the tone passed to the party by the Nehuvian past.

It might not be anyone else other than its arch rival BJP which has promoted the party to consider a change in its tone – at least for the sake of survival.

It is observed that the present tone of the, so called, centre-left Congress sounds not too different from the tone of the, so called, centre-right BJP.

Newly elected Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath is the latest one who has spoken in this newly acquired tone. He, while speaking to the representative of a renowned national daily, has said that the Congress has always been for cow protection and shelters.

The leftists are the ones that the change in the Congress’s tone worries the most. At present, they have no clear national plan other than supporting the Congress in the centre in order to distance the BJP from the corridor of power. The change leaves the leftists with no option but to reconsider thier national plan (their failed national plan).
