A law student from Kerala who was waiting for the train to go to Mangalore from Kanhangad, and refused to let a incident, she thrashed him until he begged her to let him go .Kavitha J Kallor, an final year student of Mangalore’s SDM college was heading back to her college in Ernad express on Sunday evening. She saw a middle aged man in white started acting shady and she found it dubious. She clicked a picture of him, and then she realised that he had flashed and he begun to mastrubate in public. She caught him by the collar and started to thrash him. The crowd didn’t move and help her. None came forward.
Kavitha said” The man fell at my feet and said he will never do it again and walked away. There were men and women in the public and I expected some support but not one came forward to warn him”
She found out that the man was a serial offender after many women’s personally messaged her on reporting the similar flashing incidents in the same railway station. Since she was heading to Mangalore she couldn’t take this matter to the police immediately, henceforth she would register a police complaint once she returns home.
“Flashing and mastrubating is very common in Kerala. It is done by well-dressed men and jobless peoples too in bus stands and railway stations”,Kavitha said.
