A hug that win nation’s heart

Rahul Gandhi, the newly elected president of the Congress party, has emerged as a perfect symbol of peace and harmony, after he has won the heart of the nation by countering an angry word war with a hug.

The day that the parliament has discussed the no confidence motion submitted by the TDP has been the day of the Congress president. The Congress leader has shown clearly to the nation what the difference between the Saffron regime and the Grand Old Party is.

The Congress president, during the discussion session of the no confidence motion, has strongly criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that he gave false promises to the people of the country during the last general election campaign. He has also politically attacked the PM, denouncing his silence on the issue of cow vigilantism and lynching attacks, criticising his close door policy in the defence deals, and questioning his crony capitalist policies.

While concluding his speech, he has admitted that he is alien to hatred and anger by saying that he would not feel angry at the BJP even if the saffron party members show angry at him and mock him by calling provocative names.

The hug he has given to the PM after he has concluded the speech is the best part of his performance in the parliament. By doing so, he has clearly shown to the nation, or somehow has made the common people get an impression, that his only intention is to lead the nation peacefully with the support of peace ideologies propagated by the Congress.

Anyway, the Lok Sabha Speaker, Sumitra Mahajan, has reminded the Congress leader that every member must follow the decorum of the house.

Meanwhile, several senior BJP leaders have mocked the Congress president’s performance including his hug as a political stunt.

Importantly, the PM has also denounced the Congress supremo’s move as an attempt to overthrow the democratically elected government in an undemocratic manner.
