66th National film award: Bollywood stars congratulated the winners
66th National Film awards were announced by Rahul Rawail, along with other jury members on Friday. ‘Andhadhun’, ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’, ‘Badhai Ho’ are the film among others which bagged awards in several categories.
Aayushman Khurrana walked away with the best actor award for ‘Andhadhun’ and the film also bagged the Best Hindi Film category and “Badhaai Ho’ also starred Ayushmann as the lead, won the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment category.
‘Uri’ not only won Vicky Kaushal his first National Award, but it also won director Aditya Dhar his first award as well. On the other hand ‘Padman’ starring Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor won an award for the Best Film on Social Issue.
Bollywood stars including Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kpoor and other reacted to the big wins and congratulated the winners through social media.
