‘Moothon’: Trailer Of Nivin Pauly’s next venture released
Geetu Mohandas’s second directorial ‘Moothon’ premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival will soon hit the screens in India. However before it reaches the big screen, the film’s trailer has been released and it gives a glimpse of how a boy is searching for his elder brother, ‘Moothon’. Nivin Pauly, appears as this daring, angry, impulsive gangster, whom people call ‘Bhai’. The trailer also reveals the character of Rosy (Sobhita Dhulipala), who plays a prostitute from Kamathipura, it also features Rosshan Mathew and Shashank Arora. The trailer promises that the film will have a unique storytelling and a non-linear theme. Nivin Pauly plays the role of a never seen before avatar with trimmed hair and a ruthless attitude.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas the movie is produced by Anurag Kashyap, Vinod Kumar, Ajay G Rai, and Alan McAlex. ‘Moothon’ narrates the story of a 14 year-old boy from Lakshadweep, who arrives in Mumbai in search of his sibling. The film talks about gender and sexuality. The cinematography is done by Rajeev Ravi and Geetu has crafted the script for the film. Apart from Nivin Pauly, Sanjana Dipu, Shashank Arora, Sobhita Dhulipala, Roshan Mathew, Dileesh Pothan, Harish Khanna, Sujith Shankar and Melissa Raju Thomas are also seen in movie playing pivotal roles.
